As well as revamping the site's layout and content, I have also moved the NJRS to my own domain, beautifuldreamers.net since heliohost has been down a lot (which causes issues for me and those who wish to view the site), so check out the new NJRS site! Also, along with the new site URL, the NJRS has a new email as well: njregency@beautifuldreamers.net
In any case, I hope you like the new layout as much as I do! It's very clean, neat, and easy to navigate. It's also very neutral, so while it's not 100% Regency, it does have that Regency air...well at least, in my opinion, it does.
Personally, I feel that the current layout for the NJRS site doesn't really suit NJRS at all, so right now I'm going to revamp the site. In other words, the site will be down for a day or two so it gets a "face lift".
Please be sure to check the site in a few days!
I had recently visited a lovely little antiques store/tea room known as Kathy's Kove, and after having a small chat with Kathy LaCorte, owner of the store/tea room, the New Jersey Regency Society can now host parties and meetings at her store!
Of course, the store itself is not truly "Regency" as the atmosphere is intended to feel more like Grandma's home; however, with a few arrangements, the atmosphere can made to feel more regency-like.
Anywho, please feel free to visit Kathy's Kove's official site.
Warm regards,
M. Mirabelle
